Warranty & returns

Know the cover and condition before you commit.

Every refurbished device should be understood properly before handover. These guidelines explain the current approach to grading, fault reporting, returns, and warranty cover.

Condition grading

  • Listings may include condition grades such as Grade A, Grade B, or Fair together with practical notes on wear, marks, battery expectations, or known defects.
  • Customers should review the item description, photos, included accessories, and notes before bidding or ordering.
  • Cosmetic wear that has been disclosed before payment is generally not treated as a warranty fault afterward.

Warranty cover

  • Warranty duration can vary by item and is usually displayed on the listing.
  • Warranty cover generally applies to qualifying faults that arise within the stated period and fall within the intended use and tested scope of the device.
  • Misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs, or unsupported modifications are generally excluded.

Reporting an issue

  • Any issue should be reported as soon as possible using the original order details and a clear description of the problem.
  • The business may request photos, videos, diagnostics, or a physical inspection before approving any repair, replacement, credit, or refund outcome.
  • Returned items should normally be returned with the charger, cable, or other listed accessories where relevant.

Returns

  • Returns are not automatic and may depend on the item condition, the reason for return, the listing terms, and the result of inspection.
  • Where a return is accepted, the item should be returned in the same condition it was supplied, subject to reasonable inspection for the reported fault.
  • Any approved replacement, repair, credit, or refund outcome will be communicated after the return assessment is complete.

Auction-specific expectations

  • Winning an auction does not remove the buyer’s obligation to review the listing fully before bidding.
  • If payment is not completed on time, the platform may cancel the result and move to the next eligible bidder.
  • Condition acceptance may still be required at collection or before dispatch, especially where a listing contains known cosmetic notes.
