Auction Terms

These terms apply to all timed auctions run through the NetworX I.T. platform and should be read together with the item listing itself.

Bidding is binding

  • Submitting a bid means you intend to buy the item if your bid becomes the valid winning bid.
  • Bids may not be withdrawn after submission unless the business agrees in writing or a clear system error occurred.
  • Failure to pay after winning may lead to cancellation, account flagging, suspension, or loss of access to future auctions.

Winning and reserve rules

  • The highest valid bid at closing will usually be treated as the winner unless the listing, reserve rule, or admin review says otherwise.
  • Where a reserve applies, the business is not obliged to release the item below that reserve.
  • The business may review suspicious bidding patterns, duplicate accounts, false bids, or clear pricing errors before confirming a winner.

Payment deadline

  • The default payment window for winning bidders is 12 hours unless a different period is shown on the listing.
  • Items remain subject to payment confirmation before collection or delivery is arranged.
  • If the winner does not pay in time, NetworX I.T. may offer the item to the next eligible bidder, relist the item, or cancel the result.

Item inspection and acceptance

  • Buyers must review the listing description, grade, condition notes, photos, and included accessories before bidding.
  • Collection or dispatch may require proof of identity, order confirmation, and final acceptance of the item condition.
  • Any special auction-specific condition disclosed on the listing forms part of the contract for that auction.

Admin control and platform fairness

  • NetworX I.T. may pause, close, reschedule, or cancel an auction where there is fraud risk, a stock problem, a technical fault, or a clear operational error.
  • The business may void invalid bids, refuse abusive accounts, and keep records of bidding activity for fraud prevention and dispute handling.
  • Only one live featured auction may run at a time, but scheduled listings may still appear for preview.
